Back With Sculpture

There’s a special kind of excitement I feel when I’m working with sculpture, something of a higher level than what I get from painting. Even when life pulled me away from making art, clay is what brought me back.

I joined a ceramics class just to get creative again, and it ended up opening the door to a whole new sense of happiness and purpose. Since then I’ve been creating one small sculpture after another, and the series keeps growing. I can’t wait to see them all together in an exhibition someday soon.

Now I just need to find the right gallery that believes in the work as much as I do.

Provo un entusiasmo speciale quando lavoro con la scultura, piu' forte di quello che sento con la pittura. E quando la vita mi ha allontanato dal fare arte, è stata l’argilla a riportarmi indietro.

Avevo iniziato un corso di ceramica solo per ritrovare un po’ di creatività, e invece mi ha aperto la porta a un nuovo senso di felicità e di scopo. Da allora creo una scultura dopo l’altra, e la serie continua a crescere. Non vedo l’ora di vederle tutte insieme in una mostra.

Ora devo solo trovare la galleria giusta che creda in questi lavori quanto ci credo io.
