Glitter & Grit

This group exhibition brings together five distinct artistic voices in conversation. Featuring a mix of photographs, paintings and sculptures, this is art that expresses fun, daring expression and the many colourful hues of the spirit of Mardi Gras.

On show at Basement Gallery (Gosford, NSW) from Feb 4th until March 1st, this exhibition showcases artworks by John Douglas, Guy James Warren, CMoore Hardy, Bridy Garnon and Sandro Nocentini who also curated the exhibition.

Nocentini's works on show were all created for this specific exhibition.

It Takes All Colours To Make A Rainbow

"It Takes All Colours To Make A Rainbow" is a collection of 5 sculptures and speaks of the quiet truth that difference is not division.
Each figure stands on its own, yet remains an essential part of a larger narrative.
After this exhibition, these sculptures will likely find homes of their own, each representing just one colour from the wider composition. And yet they belong to a greater story - like us, each a unique being, different yet equally precious, each a vital contribution to the whole.
